This collection of handmade beaded necklaces focuses on the use of overlapping fringe
as the main design feature. There is a base weave of either Russian triangle stitch, bead netting, or right angle weave;
but the main element is the distinctive looped fringe. The simplest design would bne a single row of these all
in one color. But I prefer greater complexity as you can see from the images below. The two colors of "Cherries and Cream"
is an exploration of contrasts in both hue and finish while the stunning three tiered "Sari Colors"
is an example of a more subtle pattern of color, texture, and bead size. But not all the loops are soft drapes. "Cascadia"
shows how contrasting loops can also be quite angular.
