Unique Handmade Gift Necklace - Ultraviolet

This necklace is part of the series, "Sci-fi Movie Night Popcorn." This name came about in a sudden fit of inspiration. The tubular netting beadwork manages to look very much like old time strung popcorn. And when is the best time for popcorn? Why, at the movies of course. Science fiction films are my favorites. As for the name of this particular necklace, I wanted to keep to a scientific theme. Ultraviolet is the short wavelength of high energy located just past the blue end of the visible spectrum. The 5/0 Japanese triangle beads I used are very shimmery purple within purple offset by 8/0 sea foam beads to form the netted tube. The focal bead is a vintage pebble textured Czech glass bead.
