Silver Dragon’s Treasury Picks

From heat-waves to wavelengths, the treasuries this week all describe something related to wave phenomena.

Parabola Gold is a bracelet in an unusual (for bead weaving) three dimensional wave form by Glenda of Dax Designs. Glenda is an award winning artist from Australia whose work, I suspect, is infused with that land’s beauty.

Breaking Waves is a different interpretation of the concept of waves. This bracelet shows wave motion both in the patterning as well as in the gentle fluidity of the weave used by the artist, MaryT.

Waves O Fire Recycled Steel Firepit caught my eye for the image but it seems a beautiful form for toasting marshmallows.

The Wave after Hokusai is a perfectly stunning work of quilted art at Littleton Studio.
