Rainy Day Colors

November in Maryland this year varies from clear, brilliantly colored days to dreary cold and grey ones. Today, for example, it’s raining steadily and the temperature hovers in the high forties and low fifties. It feels colder. And I’m indoors! Right now, I’m working on a necklace for my latest additional line of lower priced necklaces that will make terrific gifts for young ladies. The design is a modified, narrower, version of my more complex tubular netting pieces. I’m working with 11/0 silver-lined aurora borealis finished orange seed beads contrasted with slightly larger clear color-lined dark rose 6/0 seed beads. I love mixing colors!

My next new line (upcoming shortly) will be bridal necklaces. All pastels and creams and whites. I will be concentrating on texture and finish combinations for these and I will be making both ornate and stately works so as to have something for every taste.

At the same time, I have a couple shows upcoming! The first is a demonstration and sale at Calico Cat Crafts Gallery in Woodlawn, MD. I will be at the store from opening to closing. Anyone in Baltimore or environs that day? Come and visit! Online I will be participating in the International Jewelry Designers Guild’s Virtual Trunk Show on 4 December. It’s not ready yet, so I can’t provide a link. But as the date gets closer I surely will!

Remember that buying online from me is safe, secure, and fast. Stay out of the crowds and keep your tranquility!
