At Half a Year

Month six, a milestone for 2010 and me. I am finally beginning to understand business despite my twin perspectives as an artist and scientist. I am confident in my self and in my art and more than ready to push the boundaries of artistic comfort. It isn’t scary, rather it’s exciting. I wonder if Braque felt this way before he developed Cubism.

Month six, both Winter and Spring (here in the Northern Hemisphere, anyway) are given over to the burgeoning Summer. I hope today’s heat and humidity were a fluke rather than a harbinger of things to come. Nonetheless, I’ve plenty of artistic inspiration and ideas to pursue.

Month six, time runs on, and I have so much I want to do in this year. How about you? Have you kept up with your dreams and tasks? Is it time for you to review your planned tasks and goals? Time to modify some, delete others, and add still others anew?

There is little that is planned that doesn’t need modifying and following through on this keeps my work, at least, fresh.
