Flights of Imagination

Silver Dragon’s Treasury Picks

Apparently, today’s theme is feathers. Or possibly flights of imagination. You decide.

Feather Fascinator with Birdcage Veil by Ellen MarieA cross between a hat and a brooch, a fascinator is a small hair accessory that acts as a delicate cap. This one has feathers, and pearls and a veil. I love veiled hats!

“Interwoven” – An Original Painting by WB Eckert More feathers even if they aren’t very feathery. In fact this painting is notable for its smooth sharp lines, bold colors, and fabulously intriguing composition. I especially love the clouds forming at the horizon.

Leopard Couture Feathered Tote Bag This is an amazing tote. the application of the feathers really takes center stage.

Winged Birdcage Not only do birds have feathers but so can a birdcage. This is a lovely and unusual work of art.

Huang – She is a Flower in Her Own Garden Huang is the female Chinese firebird. This bracelet, one of my works, is a painting in bead weaving that is worn on the wrist. I am especially proud of the image of the piece apparently in flight.
